Love Letter #9 Lighthouse of Love

1.
You only compare yourself to the person you were yesterday.  Jealousy and envy dissolve.

2.
You see the sparkle in others eyes and it tickles your heart.

3.
People who used to piss you off, now you just want to hug.  Complaints turn into blessings. Forgiveness is natural - especially with yourself. We all make mistakes. As Einstein said " A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new".

4.
You become really aware of what your preferences in life are, and stop trying to please everyone. You don't care if someone doesn't share your opinion. You know what they say about opinions...they are like belly buttons or b-holes...everyone has one.

5.
Messes get cleaned up lickety split, and sort of become playful. You may whistle while you work. Providence (as my Father says) to attract the resources to solve problems and GSD (get shit done ) with a smile.

6.
You see the money you DO have as a wonderful tool, like a fork or spoon, and you begin to appreciate however much you have and spend it wisely. You discover the more you appreciate money it appreciates too. You know your wallet is your real vote. You vote everytime you spend or share money.

7.
Judgment becomes boring, and you would much rather cuddle with your kids, a good book, teddy bear or partner.  There is a distinction between wise choices and judgement. You know what to do.

8.
Collaboration trumps the cheap thrill of someone else losing and you winning. Everyone can be a hero, shero, winner because when you are tuned into your heart, you are aware of your talents and gifts.  Revenge may feel momentarily sweet, knowing the "bad guy lost" but too much sugar rots your teeth and organs. "Bad guys" need rehabilitation, not torture. A loving heart can choose to focus on beauty, or turn attention away from ugliness and hatred. Yes, turn the other cheek, what we focus on grows.  A bully won't last long if no one paid attention to their shenanigans.  Skills can be mastered without the need to out do anyone or anything. Healthy competition is great, like in the Olympics, but the idea is to surpass the past limits, not to destroy the opponent. The Olympic games is one of the most collaborative and unifying events on the planet.

9.
Processed junk food becomes repulsive.  Your body knows what it wants. Over indulgence fades away, because you know how to feed your heart and soul with positive thoughts about yourself, and you don't need a darn thing outside yourself to provide you instant gratification. You eat to thrive and listen to your bodies signals. You aren't dragged around by your emotional cravings.  Satisfaction becomes a natural state, and needing IG (instant gratification) gets old. Not that over indulgence is bad, it just becomes undesireable once your body starts to run the show instead of an over active, over stressed, starving for peace mind.

10.
You spontaneously magnetize with people and places in your everyday life that bring you joy. The smile from the checker at the grocery store touches your heart, even though the line was really long and a baby was screaming behind you. You can relax even in the face of long lines, angry drivers and bad news.

Please spread the love and share!
